OEF Teams Up with Adobe Systems Incorporated

Adobe Systems Incorporated donated more than 1,000 sets of its leading software products for web design and development to the OEF, otherwise known as the Oracle Education Foundation. The donation was made in line with the company’s ongoing commitment to helping numerous students and educators across the world.

Adobe has chosen to enter into a partnership with the independent charitable group Oracle Education Foundation since the organization is committed to helping children develop critical skills that are essential for the emerging 21st century. One of the organization’s current missions is to provide its ThinkQuest technology program to a number of primary and secondary schools worldwide for free.

The donated software products from Adobe Systems will then be packaged and delivered to a number of eligible schools enrolled in the 2009 ThinkQuest Website Competition. The grant is said to include several Adobe Software products such as Photoshop, Adobe, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash Pro CS3, Elements 4, as well as Elements 6. These software products will also be given to several students who may not have access to advanced web design software. For this reason, the students will be given the chance to know more about the industry leading technology while also acquiring critical 21st century skills.

By working together, Adobe Systems and the Oracle Education Foundation are able to provide a unique opportunity for young students all over the world, especially those who do not have access to high level tools for software design and development. By providing schools with the latest innovations in technology, the Oracle Education Foundation and Adobe Systems are able to make sure that the students have convenient and easy access to the much needed tools and products that are essential for their success later on in life.
